You need to know how deep your square-foot project is. Cubic feet is length x width x height. Square feet is length x width. So if you need sand for a sand box that is 12 x 12, and the sand is only sold by cubic foot, decide how deep you want the sand to be.

Cubic feet is a three dimensional measurement where square feet is a two dimensional measurement. Pick the two dimensions you need to have a measurement of and multiply them to get square feet. For example the height by the width, the height by the depth, or the width by the depth. I know of no direct conversion.

As we know that from maths rules that Square Feet= (Length x Width)...... I Cubic Feet= (Length x Width x Height)....... II So from I and II cubic feet = square feet × height in feet Also a standard mathematics formula guide line if we compare Equation I and II we can easily get the formula.

You can not convert a unit of volume to a unit of area. There are many handbooks and websites that will give you conversion factors. Perhaps you should revise your question. And ask again.
