How do you clean the keyboard of a IBM thinkpad?

I have gotten crumbs in my keyboard, as a result the keys are sticking.

Compressed air is the best way to remove the debris, then one can use a solvent to remove the sugar that is causing the keys to stick. There are solvents which can be used on computers available at electronic stores.

You can try to purchase a can of canned air. Use this as a way to loosen up the crumbs on your keyboard. This will hopefully allow some of them to fall out easily, and then you can just clean them up that way. Also, use an index card or business card to get between the keys. Turning the thinkpad upside down after doing this works best.

To get that stickiness off you can use baby oil, it smells good and is non-conductive so it wont fry any parts.

I would first try using a can of compressed air and try blowing underneath the specific keys that are sticking. Most keyboards are held down by a screw from the bottom that is indicated by a keyboard symbol. You can try removing the keyboard and shaking it out. If you are careful, individual keys can be lifyed off as well.
