How do you clean a stainless steel back splash?

Use a dish detergent that cuts through grease. Add a few drops to a bucket of warm to hot water. Use a soft cloth and rub it on. (Do not use abrasive sponge)If its streaky when you are done use a product made for stainless steel, rub on backsplash with cloth in circular motions. Use a clean cloth to buff.

The same products that are meant for cleaning stainless steel pots and pans can be used to clean a stainless back splash. Bon Ami and Bartender's Friend work well.

Depending on how much build up is on the stainless steel back splash, usually a solution of bleach will take any debris off and polish it up nicely. You can use a fine steel wool pad but be careful that you do not scratch the surface, as scratches may hold more dirt.

Well to properly clean stainless without hurting it your will need to use a soft cloth and some stainless cleaner. Just spray and wipe it down.
