If you are referring to US Savings Bonds, you can take them to most any bank, savings and loan, or credit union for redemption. To save yourself a wasted trip, you may want to call first to ensure they will redeem them and if they prefer for you to make an appointment if you have a large number of bonds.

If the bonds are in your name, you should be able to take them to your bank and cash them easily. If you do not have a bank account, you should still be able to cash them at a bank, but there may be an upper limit on the amount.

The easiest way to cash US Savings Bonds is at your bank. Call them and see if they have that capability. They will be able to figure the interest due and fill out the correct paperwok. Paying for a wedding in cash is a fine thing. Good Luck.
