Plant in partial shade area away from other trees. Then dig a whole wo times the size of the roots and fill with organic fertilizer, forming a mound. Next water every two days, generously soaking the roots. Fertilize with acid fertilizer in the spring and summer. Lastly, check for insects such as red spiders and mealy worms.

Well drained soil, partial shade, and an area with good air flow will help this tree thrive. If you keep it inside, place it where it can enjoy full sunlight. Fertilize once a month April thru November. On older trees, prune as soon as it stops blooming.
