How do you cancel a Westgate resort timeshare?

I feel like I got suckered into singing an agreement for a timeshare and want out of it.

Review the contract. Details for cancellation will be included in the paperwork. If you feel you were misled, file a Small Claims action and make your case to the judge.

In most states you have 3 business days to get out of the contract. You should contact your Attorney Generals office and ask what the statute is in your state. You must do this in writing. You just cannot be verbal, you must write this.

It may not be possible to cancel a timeshare agreement, but the terms of the contract that you signed will provide for any cancellation policy. Often, there is a 72 hour window in order to back out of the agreement, but it may not be possible to do so.

Resort timeshares are notorious for pressuring people into signing. If it is less than three days after signing you can get out of it. If it is awhile you may want to do a resell. There are many timeshare resellers ywhou can liquidate it for you.

In general, the only way out of a timeshare is to sell the timeshare. The purchase of a timeshare is a binding contract, and unless there has been some sort of breach on the other parties' side it is unlikely that a purchaser can get out of that agreement. There are many companies and websites that specialize in selling timeshares.
