How do you bleed atv brakes?

I am trying to put new brakes on my atv, however I need to bleed or drain the lines first and am uncertain as to how to do it.

Make sure all your connections to the brake line are tight. Remove the rubber caps and nipples. Fill the reservoir and then tap it. Next pump the brakes. Pump them slowly as you hold the lever and then bleed the valve with a slow release.

First drain out the brake fluid. Then install the new brakes. Finally bleed the brakes. Start with the corner farthest from the reservoir. Pump and hold the brake while opening the bleeder. Repeat until no air comes out filling the reservoir as needed. Repeat for the remaining corners.

First, flip your ATV over, because it's much easier to work on when the brakes are at eye length. Make sure you have a set of Snap-On grade tools and remove the wheels. The brakelines can easily be unplugged. Let them fall toward the ground so any fluid bleeds out onto the ground. When they stop running, replace them.

Traditionally you would go and pull the brake lines off each corner and drain all the old fluid out and then add the new. This method typically requires hours of bleeding and can be hard for a single person to do. I recommended buying a reverse or speed bleeding kit. This forces new fluid up from the bottom eliminating bubbles.
