Most government bid jobs are posted in the newspaper. It will give you a location to pick up the needed papers with the dimensions of the work on it. Figure out how much you could do it for profitably. You have to physically put a bid in an envelope and give it to the people in charge of this project.

You will bid on a painting job based on several factors. How many coats do the clients want? How many rooms do they want done? How fast do they want their painting jobs done. All these factors and more will have to be computed in order to find the appropriate bidding price to do the job.

The client company will put out a request for bids and will detail what they need to have done. Then companies will bid on the request and say how much the want to be paid to do the job. Often the lowest bid will win the contract.

Find out how much the going rate is for this type of work. Figure out how much supplies cost, see where you can purchase your supplies at a discount. Finally consider who you would hire, how ti find an employee and what the going rate of pay for these people would be.
