How do you adjust the pool's ppm stabilizer?

Answer by  srainne (2597)

If your pool won't hold the chlorine level; it really could be a stabilizer issue. Raise the stabilizer to the ideal level of 50 by adding Cyanuric Acid.

Not holding chlorine could also be due to high phosphate levels. Good to check that along with the stabilizer level.  add a comment

On mine there is a dial you turn. But you can ask a pool specialist, if yours is different and doesn't have the dial. They would know where to locate yours.
