A business plan details the plan for the business, why it is a good idea and why it will be successful. Include information about expenses (rent, equipment, salaries, wages, insurance, taxes, security, training, advertising, etc. ) as well as how income will be generated: at what rate times how many clients or sales to whom? Detail demographics and your experience.

You have to cater your plan towards what the grant wants to accomplish. If the grant wants to bring in minority workers hire a bunch. If they want to promote local economy get locals hired.

You would write a business plan for a grant almost the same as any regular business grant. Make sure that you follow the directions and rules!

Try and get sample copies of successful grants that were awarded. Make sure you don't copy it word for word but use basically the same kind of plans and customize for best usage.
