You can use landscape fabric in the garden by lining newly dug garden beds or rows with the fabric. Then, cover with soil and plant as usual. The fabric will cut down on weeds and roots that would otherwise grow around your newly planted garden. You can also line the paths leading to the garden to discourage weed growth.

Landscape fabric can be used in vegetable gardens to keep the weeds down. It should be buried 6-12" under a mixture of soil and compost.

Landscape fabric is a great way to cut down weeds in your yard. I am not aware of a way to use it in a vegetable garden unless you cut strips to cover unused areas of ground.

You can use landscape fabric in vegetable gardens to prevent weed growth. The material blocks sunlight and keeps weeds from growing and ruining your garden. To use it, roll it out and cut holes large enough to plant the plants.
