Rabbits are very delicate creatures and require a good amount of care. Since the foot is infected, you must take your rabbit to a vet to have it treated. Please look for a vet who specializes in small animals and exotics, a regular vet usually does not have enough experience to properly treat a rabbit.

If you believe your rabbit has an abscess, you should take the rabbit to the vet to be examined. Infections can spread into the blood stream if untreated causing death.
