How do I stop water leaking from the tub?

this may caused because of many reasons. first of find the reason for leakage. if it is due to small crack in the tub, use some liquid gums, like feviquik. and leave utill it dries. if it is leaking from the water tap, you have to remove the tap or put some teflon tape in the joints and tight it.

A Simple solution is white caulking, if the water is leaking out of the knobs you can try tightening them (on the inside of course) but this usually is a temporary fix as the washers on the inside might be broken.

first you are start with the top piece,then adjusting the trip leveler. also remove trip lever drain assembly,then the rods are attached to the face plate will come out too,along with the stopper then go to your drain cover,there should be little nibs in the flange after remove old plumbers.

You must first find the source of the leak. If it is your tub leaking then you will have to replace the tub. If it is a fixture that is leaking, replace the fixture. You may have a pipe leak that may need repaired as well.

clean the tub properly from where it is leaking and then apply m-seal a feviquik than leave it to dry or melt a plastic from broken tub or bucket and pour on the leakage
