How do I replace the base on my heat exchanger?

You need to first make sure that the electricity is off in your home. Then you remove the metal base, clean around the edges of it, then you remove the cover and put the new one in its place.

You need to first find the screws on your observation door. Unscrew them and then remove the door. Within will be the base of the heat exchanger. You should be able to pull this unit out and slip the new one inside.
