How do I remove links from a watch band?

The links from the watch band usually have tiny screws on the side of the links if you turn the watch on its side. The links are usually removed with a tiny screw driver that you can usually get inside an eye glass repair kit.

Use something and push from the marked side to remove the pin and link. The push it back in the same side.

Use tweezers or pliers to loosen the links (they should pop up from each other) then remove the links you wish to shorten the band. Then reconnect the remaining links.
