The solutions to remove marker stains are alcohol based, such as rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover and acetone. Place fabric on a clean towel and apply the alcohol solution to stain. Repeat by moving the fabric to a dry area in towel and reapplying the alcohol solution.

Tricky, but try bleach (for whites), or try a colored laundry detergent that has a safe bleach in it. Or you could try a pre-treatment like spray & Wash.

You will first off want to try using hairspray, men's spray deodorant, purell, or anything that has alcohol in it. Let it sit and then wash it.
