You basically support your body with your hands placed flat on the floor. You then swing your legs all around in circles without allowing our feet or legs to touch the floor. The Thomas Flare is prety difficult to do and describe accurately though!

The Thomas Flare is a reverse, inverted handstand done on the balance beam. You flip backwards, do into the handstand and do the splits prior to dismount.

The Thomas Flare (or Flair) is a popular breakdance move that originated from gymnastics. I've seen gymnasts do the move in foor exercises and on the Pommel Horse. You need really strong arms and shoulders to pull it off as your whole body weight is supported on your hands!

This is a complex move but start with your hands on the ground, arch your back down and swing your feet in the air. Rotate 360+ degrees with all your force and try not to lose your balance. Kurt Thomas invented this move and is ranked 3 out of 5 in difficulty.

Actually the move was first invented by L. J. Larson from the Arizona State University.  add a comment

To do the Thomas Flair the gymnast needs to supports her body with her arms. Then swing her legs around her stationary torso in continuous circles. The legs are not allowed to touch the ground.
