Metal clay or art clay is similar to modelling clay and can be used to make jewelry.Metal clay is made of tiny particles of gold or silver in an organic binding material.When fired in a klin this clay looks like a metal,it can be moulded,stamped,textured in form of jewelry.

The simplest way for you to learn how to work with metal clay would be to take a class. There is no way it could be covered in a paragraph. There are dozens of good books out there as well, but you'll be able to ask questions in a class.

Clay can be used for many arts and craft projects even jewelry. When the clay is placed into a kiln it then has the consistency to look and feel just like real metal and gives it the look to display very fine detail which is ideal for making jewelry.

Well you might have to melt the metal clay to get it to mold into some kind of form or another.
