How do I list several temporary jobs on my resume?

While looking for my forever job I have take several temporary jobs.

You probably shouldn't do anything different than you would for regular permanent positions. Just list the job title and location, and the months you were employed (if it was less than a month, just list a single month). If there are a lot or if you are still currently holding one, you can list "temporary position" after the title.

Mine are listed like this: Misc. Temp Work and private hire. Listed dates of overall time I spent temping and the general titles or major duties.

I would only list those temporary jobs that relate to the position you are currently applying for. For example, if you were applying for a paralegal position, I would include the legal receptionist job. This will show your potential employer that you already have experience working in a law office.

List start and ending dates for these temporary jobs with a note that they were of limited duration. You can list them as "job title - contract".
