drill a hole in the foundation and run a 12-2 romex through it into the crawlspace. connect wire to a 110v junction. surface mount weatherproof box over hole and install receptacle.

Run the wiring through the wall to where you will be wiring the outlet, put in the outlet box, seal it with caulk or something else that will keep water from getting behind the outlet, wire the outlet in the box, attach a cover to the box. the outlet should be a gfci so if it shorts from water it won't burn your house down.

You basically install it the same way as what you a indoor one. The wiring is the same however you must use a GFI outlet and it needs to be in a heather proof housing.

You would first have to run either 12-2 or 14-2 to where ever on the outside of your house you want the plug. Use a enyce cover for protection.
