How do I go about unlocking my keyboard?

In order to fix this problem, restart your computer. Then go to the start menu. Once there you will find "control panel". Go into this and select keyboard. Uncheck any and all boxes. Restart your computer and your keyboard will now work.

Holding down the shift key for more than 8 seconds will lock your keyboard. To get around this go to Start - Settings - control panel - accessibility option. Ensure that all the 3 boxes under the keyboard tab are unchecked.

If you are referring to having your keyboard stuck in the caps mode, just tap the caps lock key again to unlock that mode.

Do a hardware modification. Open the keyboard up and try to understand the circuitry. You need to reverse-engineer it and maybe write some custom software.

The keyboard can be unlocked by unplugging the wire of the keyboard first, then remove the dust from the keyboard and then plug the wire again with the keyboard. It would start.
