The car antena is one of the easier things that you can replace when repairing auto yourself. Disconnect your radio cable from your antenna cable . Then You just screw the nut out at the bottom of the antena. When you are putting new one on just do the reverse of taking it off..

The Antenna plugs into the back of your radio unit. If you remove the antenna plulg from the back of your radio and then remove the wiring throughout the car to the antenna mount on the car. Next install the new antenna and run the wire where the old wire ran prior. Plug the antenna back into the radio.

Most antennas just screw off. The difficult part would be finding one. You can check a local auto store for one or find one at a dump that works.

In order to replace the antenna on a VW Jetta Wagon you will first have to drop the rear of the headliner. That can be a difficult task for some. Just heat the rubber base piece with a hair dryer, and it should come right off to access the antenna.

Depending on what year of Jetta you have the process will vary. Start buy unhooking the wiring the locating the hardware holding the antenna on. Some model will require you to actually take the wheel off to access a nut on the back of the antenna in order to remove it,

The antenna on a VW Jetta is easy to replace. The first step is to remove the old antenna by twisting it off. Next, purchase a replacement from a local store, local junk yard, or order one online. Once you have the new one, simply twist it on where the old one was removed.
