How do I go about having something that I invented mass-produced?

Contact the various industries that would be involved. Be careful about releasing too much detail until you have your invention patented. You would go overseas for production, but patent laws do not exist and soon you would see the item being imported and sold at a price that undercuts your product. Careful planning is essential.

You need to start smaller and make sure there is a market for your product by finding a company that can make a few of your invention for market testing. If successful, sales will grow organically and as you bring in more income you can increase production.

You first want to make sure you are protected in the U.S. by a patent. Research manufacturers on the sort of item you have. Patents do not apply overseas, so if you go to China for production, your idea will be copied and sold for less.
