Question by  aman3780 (12)

How do I go about describing the results of hypotheses testing?

Are there key elements that are required?

Yes, when you present the results you should first describe what you were testing for. Do this in general terms, not in statistical terms. Then you should identify the percentage of error you allowed for, and why that was chosen. Finally, conclude by stating where the majority of the results lie, and therefore state your conclusion in real words.

State hypothesis as precisely as possible; design the test(s) narrowly and account for all variables, logical holes and exceptions; perform test; articulate and record results; refine and re-test.
