You can get it appraised at many jewelry stores. Local ones in your area might do appraisals. Just give some jewelry stores near you a call and ask them if they offer appraisal services.

To get any type of antique jewelery appraised just find a local jeweler or pawn shop that does apparisals. They may need to send it out to get appraised since it's an antique. You will probably want to get more than one appraisal to ensure that you're getting a correct estimate of value.

I would go to several jewelry stores and get several opinions on it. Many in malls will give free appraisals cause they are competing against the other mall stores. Many will also clean it for free and give it a free stone check. They usually advertise this on a sign near the front door.

Look in your yellow pages for a jeweler who appraises estate jewelry. You should do this so that you can get a written appraisal for insurance purposes.

The best thing for you to do is to take it to a person who specializes in jewelery appraisal. They will know best about what it's worth. You could take it to a place like a Pawn Shop, but you probably won't get a fair appraisal. You have to be careful about where you take things like that.
