How do I fix wheel bearing problems on my Dodge Neon?

When wheel bearing goes bad the only way to fix it is to just replace it. Technically the bearings could be rebuild but it is better to just install a new one. Just be sure to fully pack it with grease.

You can rebuild it or replace. It is best that you replace with a new one. Take wheel off after you jacked it up and but on stand.Take off,replace new.

Wheel bearings aren't typically not serviceable. You will have to replace them if they are damaged or worn. The wheel will have to come off followed by the brake rotor. Then the old bearing can be removed. Pack the new one with grease and install. The put everything back on.

If it is front wheel bearings they are a hub and bearing assembly. u need to remove that and replace with a new one. look in haynes manual.

The wheel bearings of the Dodge Neon has a history of becoming overheated and failing . In order to be perfectly safe the bearings should be replaced several times throughout the life of the automobile.

Remove the wheel mounting studs, and then pull the brake rotor off the hub and bearing. Remove the retaining nut, then the hub and bearing from the knuckle's spindle

I would replace the wheel bearing pletely take all the bearings off that came on the car stock .Then get OEM grease for when you pack them back on the car . Put plenty on OEM grease on the bearings when you put them back togather.All your wheel bearing problems should be fixed
