Fix cracked or chipped keys by prying off the old veneer and gluing on a replacement, available from your local music shop. More serious problems? Get a piano tuner.

It depends what is wrong with the keys. IF they are missing ivory, you can buy replacement ivory and re-glue a new piece in place. If the key doesn't make a note or stays down, the leathers on the hammers might have to be replaced.

You will need to open the piano and see what is causing the key not to strike. Usually it is missing felt, which you can buy online and replace.

The first thing you should do is clean the key before you start. Make sure that your gluing surface is free of debris so that you have a level playing surface.

Rather than trying to fix them yourself, the best way is to hire a CPT (certified piano technician)/repair person, to ensure the keys are fixed properly.
