How do I fix an upper heat shield in my car?

I have a Dodge Neon.

You can simply replace it or make something out of metal that will replace it. As the heat shield just needs to be made of material that will not burn and can be molded.

You could just replace your heat shield for the cost of repairing it. A new shield should cost around 30 dollars. A mechanic would charge about $30 more for labor.
