You can uninstall and reinstall. Enable the correct extension on the server. When you are enabling it on server don't use FTP, use. htm or. html page extension.

Run-time component error because impropere installation of the FP, you can uninstall and reinstall the Front Page. Some times this happens because of the corruptted files or missing files. Enable the correct extension on the server. When you are enabling it on server dont't use FTP it will corrupt the files. Use. htm or. html page extension.

Check the parameters onSubmit=... Try to delete the hole line but keep in mind to make a bakcup of this parameter before. Check if you have location. href variables that are not properly defined.

To fix a frontpage "run-time component page" error we have to uninstall the frontpage and then install the software again completely as per the instruction given in the installation manual. Then it will work properly. We can also put he ms office cd and repair the software then it can be used as usually.

1.. The FPSE must be enabled on the server. 2. publish with FrontPage to http location. Don't use FTP. 3. Use of .htm or .html page extension.

Since you are getting the run time error you are probably having a problem with your internet connection. Since this is the probable problem you will need to contact them.
