How do I fix a blown circuit?

If the device controlling the circuit is a fuse it should be replaced with another of the same voltage and current rating, if the device is a circuit breaker it should be reset, to do so the circuit breaker will need to be shut off and then placed back on.

Assuming you are in a house with standard electrical wiring: find the circuit box (often in a basement), look to see which circuit breaker switch has been tripped (switch is flipped the wrong way, often with a red indicator), switch it to the off position, then back to on.
