First of all look if he/she is board certified, visit the clinic where the doctor works and look if it is clean, comfortable and orderly, look for online information about disciplinary sanctions in the state health department and finally visit the ob-gyn and find a compatible relationship.

One of the best ways to find a good doctor is by word of mouth. I would try talking to other women that you know to find out what doctors they use and what their experiences with these doctors are like. After you get a few names you can research them further on the internet to get other opinions.

The best way to find a good Ob-Gyn is to ask your friends. Finding one that was happy with their delivery experience is the best recommendation.
