Clean with soap and water. Dry. Apply a triple antibiotic ointment and cover with a finger bandage. Change the bandage and repeat the previous steps every couple or days. Or, clean the finger and apply an invisible bandaid solution. The invisible bandaid seals the wound, keeps out the dirt and wears off as the wound heals.

Pour hydrogen peroxide into the cut. Allow it to bubble. When the bubbling stops, pour more into the cut. Do this until the bubbling slows down. Put Neosporin on the cut and put sterile bandage on it. Make sure to change your bandage at least twice a day or anytime the bandage gets dirty or wet.

In most cases plain water will wash out any foreign bodies in a deep cut. Soaping around the wound but not inside the wound is okay.

Initially, the cut can be cleansed with hydrogen peroxide, then bandaged and left to heal. If well protected, there is no need to repeated clean it. The wound heals from the inside out, so do not attempt to probe into the laceration. Leave it alone so it can heal.

Normally running the cut under cool watter will be sufficient. If you can see dirt or debris, remove it with a pair of tweezers that have been cleaned in alcohol.

You can pour hydrogen peroxide on the cut. This will kill any bacteria that are in there, but it may also sting quite a bit.

The first thing is to clean it with hot water and soap. Then take some peroxide and pour it on the cut. If the cut is deep you should go to the emergency room or health center. You might need stitches.
