Make sure to clean the area around your dogs eye several times a day. You will need to bring your dog into the vet to find out what has caused the infection. You will most likely need to give your dog medication or eye drops until it clears up.

You can try flushing the the eye with sterile saline twice daily to keep the eye clean. You can also try benadryl if its allergies. Best to see a vet.

I recommend that you take him to a vet a.s.a.p. In the mean time you can use a product called Newtons Homeopathics Eye Irritation. This will help with the pain.

The best thing to do would be to take the German Shepherd to the vet and have him give you antibiotic drops. Failing that you can rinse the eye with saline solution (not water) to flush it out.

Call the vet and tell them you need something from the vet to cure it they will be able to give you a perscription that will be able to treat it.

To cure your German Sheperd's eye infection I would flush the eye with a saline solution, a warm compress to break up extra, and put a terramycin ointment on it.

Sometimes they will clear up on their own, if it gets bad. you will probably have to go to the vet and get some antibotic eye drops, or if you have some old that you dont use anymore you might give them a try.
