How do I create and save a master template in Power Point?

Create a slide that you like and use that for your template. Open a new presentation and then Choose View > Master > Slide Master to open the slide master. Choose Format > Slide Design. You'll be able to choose fonts, backgrounds, etc. Then "save as design template" . The file extention will be .pot

You are going to want to go into power point and make the master template. It will say create master and click on that. Then you will just go back into the file and hit save once you are done.

click view from menu toolbar and select master then choose slide master.to save this click file from menu bar and then select save,type name for file name and click ok.

Well, you have to click the create template tab and then build from there. You just save it using the regular f12 button.

On the Slide Master tab, in the Edit Master group, click Insert Slide Master. Click the Slide Master preview to view your Slide Master in edit mode To save your template, choose File|Save As.
