How do find the cheapest textbooks for college?

I am tired of paying top dollar for my college textbooks.

You can do an online search for the specific textbook. Check your college bookstore in the used section. You can put in request to hold certain texts that come in.

The best thing to do is go to Amazon marketplace on the Amazon website. People post their used books there, so oftentimes you can get good deals, especially if you're buying novels for classes.

You need to get the ISBN numbers for your college textbooks. Call the college bookstore, or go in person. This ensures that you get the right edition (or you'll risk not having the text that your professor will use for tests). Once you have the ISBN number, search online with the title and ISBN and you'll find greatly discounted books.

There are several options for renting and purchasing low cost textbooks. Do an internet search to locate the services, also check bulletin board around the campus. One excellent source are friends you are in college, many times you can share, trade etc. textbooks with them especially if they have the same minor or major.
