How difficult is it to repair a Buick's cruise control?

It depends on the model and the specific problem. Check your wiring, fuses, and relays first; this is the easiest and cheapest fix. You could also replace the cruise control module itself to see if this solves the problem (some models require the airbag to be removed).

There are a number of critical components that could cause this problem, such as a malfunctioning speed sensor, fuel pump, ignition timing or wires too close to the steering column.
