How difficult is it to remove a refrigerator drain pan?

Removing the drain pan is not hard. First, remove the grill-like cover at the bottom front of your refrigerator. Then, grasp the front of the drain pan and pull it out. There may be some liquid in it, so be careful. Lift the pan to a sink or tub and dump out any liquid, wash with warm soapy water.

First, unplug your refrigerator. Then remove the front grill. It is located at the front bottom of the refrigerator. Simply pull off and then pull out the drain pan.

The drain pan is usually easy to remove from the front side bottom of the refrigerator. Usually you only have to remove the vent cover and then slide the drain pan out of the bottom. Sometimes there may be a couple of screws holding it in place.
