How can you tell how old an orphaned rabbit is?

I found a rabbit and am curious as to how old it is.

Well if its eyes are open it is at least two to three weeks old. If it is quite active I would say that it is probably at least a month old. You could take it to a local veterinarian. They could take one look and almost immediately tell you how old it is.

Its very hard to tell how old a rabbit truely is. The only indications you can look at is the condition and color of its fur. A vet would know.

It is actually very difficult to figure out how old a rabbit is. Especially when they are full grown. There could actually be as much as a ten year age gap between how old they are and how old they appear to be.

If its eyes are not open it is under two weeks. If its eyes are open then look at pitures of other rabbits, try to compare them.

The length of the rabbits front teeth can be used as an indicator of an approximate age. Size could also be helpful when trying to estimate the age. A vet may be able to provide a more accurate estimate.
