A ghost shrimp usually turns white when it has worms, it starts getting patchy and white. this is one easy way to detect worms in ghost shrimps. Always keep the infected shrimp away from the others.

It is quiet difficult to determine which shrimp has worms. From my observation, the infected one will gradually changed color to white mostly on its head. The best thing to do is to find anti-parasite food for its consumptions. However, if you has doubt, just quarantine it in a different tank for 1-2 months and verified it yourself.

You should contact your local library to get a book that shows symptoms of worms in your ghost shrimp, this is your best bet.

You will need to take it to the vet to make sure if it has it. The vet can tell you what you need to do if it has them. The vet can put it on meds to make sure it is ok.
