To tighten up the steering column you should get under the vehicle and look for loose components or missing bushings. It is probably just a loose bolt or something of your Chevy Astro van.

Its best to get it fixed by a pro for safety. But if you really want to d it. Pop your hood. you will need to tighten the following sports in this order. Tighten the steering bog, the stabilizers on the fire wall and the ones under the dash board.

Well a loose wheel is usually a sign of a loose steering setup. To tighten it up get under the vehicle and look for loose components or missing bushings. It is probably just a loose bolt or something.
