Taking an insurance company to collection is difficult and will lead to a failure. Insurance company may prove you guilty that they owe money to you and it will make the matter worse. Go for other way to resolve the dispute.

Your efforts to take an insurer to collection will be very futile and a sure failure as proving that they actually owe you money would be difficult. First, depending on the line of insurance you're in, determine your contractual relationship with them. Then contact an attorney or your insurance commissioner as these options would be much better avenues to start.

This is usually a difficult and ill-advised effort. First, it is extremely difficult to prove that an insurer actually owes you money. Next, if you can show they owe you money, showing the amount they owe may be even more difficult. Look for other ways to resolve your dispute.

Depending on the amount that they owe on an unpaid claim, you may be able to file a claim with small claims court. Before resorting to that, get all your documents together, and ask for an appointment with the manager.
