Alot of trees are easy to propagate because they root easily. The easiest way to do all this is to take cuttings that are about six inches and the width of a pencil in early spring. Put your cuttings into good quality potting soil in a pot with some newspaper

When the tree has new shoots cut them off and put the shoot into the ground covering with soil and stones or small rocks till the shoot roots. Keep well watered in dry spells and propagate in the summer when there is growth.
