How can I learn to write letters in cursive if I am older?

You can get a fresh start on legible handwriting by studying Italic Cursive. The printed and cursive Italic letters are basically the same. The difference is that printed letters are separate but they are joined in cursive. Italic handwriting workbooks aren't expensive. Order one from the book store. Have fun with it. You're in charge.

Anyone can learn how to write in cursive. There are a descent amout of lessons you could follow over the internet.. or you can go to school to learn it. Writing in cursive isn't hard at all. It doesn't matter that your older, you are never to old to learn something new

Any skill that you want to get better at requires practice. You just have to practice and practice some more if you want to get better.

You can find worksheets on the internet--or go to a teacher's supply store and get a book of worksheets.

My mother showed me an exercise they did in school (I'm 54) and she swore by it. Take your pencil and make a series of continuous loops or zeros. Move your pencil along the paper so it looks like you have drawn a 3-D pipe. Makes pages and pages!
