Follow a recipe that is known to be a good one. Practice a few batches till you get the feel for it all - mixing, beating, pouring, baking, everything that goes into it. The first few may be burned or the wrong consistency, but keep practicing and always follow the recipe.

Ask older relatives and neighbors for their muffin recipes--most people will be very happy to share their knowledge! If you cannot find anyone to help you, go to your local library and borrow a few recipe books. If all else fails, look for a recipe online. Good luck!

Ask a friend for a trusted recipe and follow the recipe. It is really no different than making muffins from a mix, except for a few additional ingredients. If you don't know how to turn on the stove yet, get a friend or family member to help you.

If you weren't fortunate to get great grandma's or your mothers recipe, your going to have to fend for self. The local library and bookstore are filled with cook books. Go online and do a Google search.

You can pick up a good all around cook book at your local bookstore. If you just need one recipe there are many online recipe websites that offer FREE recipes. They will tell you how to make the muffins. All you need is a muffin tin and cupcake papers.

in a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat egg, milk and oil. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until moistened. At this point add in your flavors. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full and bake at 400 for 20 minutes
