You can take art classes. You can buy books on the subject of facial expressions. You can go online and look up facial expression drawings using search engines. You can check the local library for books on facial expressions.

I suggest to start with an introductory booklet for drawing faces, you can buy at an art materials shop, for a safe and easy start. Another option: look at drawings or photos, and try to copy features from the face; e.g. an eye, a nose, etc.

I would suggest you either take a class to study facial expressions or just people watch a lot. You could even do research "studies" to find out how a person looks when feeling a controlled-for feeling. The best thing you could do is practice!

Cut out as many pictures of clear facial expressions as you can find. Trace them with pencil and paper, and as you do so, think about what gives the face its emotion. Keep practising this until you can create the expressions yourself.
