How can I learn to do a swimmer's racing dive?

Find a swimmer or swim coach who can help teach you. Learning a swimmer's racing dive usually just requires a lot of practice.

Look online for instructional videos. The main thing to remember during this is stay shallow and get over your fear of accidentally doing a belly flop. A quick overview of how to do one is to learn to dive and once you can do that just jump farther and farther out while diving, and get shallower with each dive.

Never lead the dive with your head, use your arms for the forward motion. If led with our head our hips will sink which will make our knees to bend.
