shock pool, drain below skimmer,water jet out, plug in. Drain pump take apart, clean filter and store. Drape roped water bottles on centered beachball,cover pool,hang water bottles

Dismantle the ladder. Remove floats from pool. Run the pump and empty several inches of water into the outside drain. Treat with chemicals and run filter. Put the cover on.

Shut off your filter system and make sure everything else is off. Snap on a pool cover tightly, and it should be okay for the winter.

You can cover the pool surface with a tarp sheet secured on as many ends adjoining the pool edge in order to prevent it from sinking into the pool.

Drain the water out of the pool, clean it thoroughly, and either collapse it or put a cover over it for the winter.
