How can I fix a crack in a radiator?

Be safe and wait for radiator to cool before attempting to fix. Then clean the radiator as best you can with a clean rag. Follow this with a coat of JB Weld (they have some listed specifically for radiators. Coat the crack evenly and wait 24 hors to dry. Voila!

Purchase a "silver bullet" at an automotive parts store. Start the car, remove the radiator cap and pour in the product. The engine needs to run for awhile for it to work. Add more coolant and close everything up.

If you can drain the radiator and remove it, it should be possible to weld it as most modern radiator are steel (though it will ook unsightly after). The other option if it is a small crack is to add a leak sealer to the water in the system, follow the instructions as required.

If you can see the crack, use some fine sandpaper and sand down the area to be patched, then wipe it clean, and apply some 'quicksteel' compound. Ideally, since quicksteel sets fast, put this on first, wait an hour, then apply a thin coat of JB weld on top, and let it sit overnight before driving.
