I spilled in on a kitchen counter at work.

Not very easy to do, or effective most of the time. The acid is into the steel and hard to remove. You can try an abrasive type cleaner and scrub it the best you can. It's etching into the steel, and not a stain.

At this point it is etched onto the steel so it would not be an easy task. You would have to use a really abrasive cleaner.
