To change the PH in your aquarium, you can make the PH lower by adding peat water. Add peat pellets to a pot o water and boil. Use part peat water and part tank water to lower the acidity in the tank.

After you test your PH level in your tank and find out if it is high or low. You can buy the PH up or down bottles at your fish store. You will add so many drops to your tank, depending on size of your tank and it will help adjust the level.

Purchase chemicals in tablet, liquid or powdered form to keep the water at the proper pH. Follow directions on the package. this is much easier than constant testing and adjustments.

Check your local pet store for the many products available to either increase or decrease the pH. You may want to start with a complete water change. Be sure to add some fresh new water each day and continue checking the pH levels daily. For best results,be sure all chemicals you are using are the same brand.
